I’ve never seen a comedian that made me both want to laugh AND go home and hug my kids.” – a fan
No artist on the coffeehouse circuit today is better than Don White at combining the heartfelt aesthetics of the singer-songwriter with side-splitting laughs.” – Scott Alarik in The Boston Globe
White is a riot on stage, a bona fide crowd pleaser. One of the most popular acts on the circuit. He plays an audience the way Leo Kottke plays a 12-string. – The Boston Globe
I have been doing a lot more private shows. This helps to keep me from having to travel more than I care to. It also gives me a chance to meet the folks who support the music. There are as many different ways to put together a private show as there are people to think them up. There is almost always a way to do it that is affordable. People have been very creative in their ideas. All I need is an environment that is conducive to performing (Chairs all facing my direction, no screaming kids and a muzzle on your drunk uncle) and I will consider it. Think it over. Check out the private performance page on the website and give us a call. There is a good chance that we will be able to work something out.
